Structural repairs

One of the areas of our activity is also the repair of RC (reinforced concrete) structures. This often emerges as a special requirement during the reconstruction of buildings.

Most frequent requirements include:

  • Increasing the capacity of load bearing structures
  • Increasing the rigidity and stability of load bearing systems
  • Extending the durability of buildings.

Based on the analysis of the conditions (quality of building materials, statics of the building) and considering new structural requirements, INTECO offers the latest technological solutions:

  • Additional strengthening of:
    • RC beams, columns, walls and slabs,
    • wooden beams,
    • load bearing elements made of steel

          using glued FRP lamel, i.e. strips or fabric (carbon, amide or glass fibre)

  • Strengthening structures by adding glued steel elements
  • Repair of cracks and degraded surfaces
  • Additional strengthening of structural

INTECO was the first to implement the system of reinforcement with carbon lamels on RC slabs at the Matija Gubec Kindergarten - Zagreb in 1997.
